Your local Lib Dems delivered over 30,000 Christmas and New Year post cards over the festive period.
Mark Wilkes commented. "It is important to remember that for many people Christmas can be a lonely time. By getting out and about and showing people we care, hopefully it will make everyone feel a little better in these difficult times."
Getting all the cards out in the snowy conditions hasn't been easy but we are persevering. Mark who has personally delivered over 6000 of the cards added "I have been to almost every village in the constituency over the Christmas and New Year period and spoken to so many people, many have not met a parliamentary candidate in years, some never. It is getting out there and listening to people which matters most."
The postcards have a 2010 calendar on the back, so they can be reused.
